Born and raised in Flushing, Queens he helped pioneer a Science Research Program through SUNY University at Albany while in high school. While earning a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Computational Sciences from Siena College in Loudonville, NY he gathered research experience in organic synthesis, bioinformatics, and computational chemistry. He entered the CUNY Ph.D. Program in Biochemistry in the Fall of 2013 and joined the Holford Lab in the Spring of 2014. His research interests include High Throughput Screening techniques and Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis. As a member of the NSF IGERT Program, he aims to functionalize biologically active conotoxins with radiolabels.
